The Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital is an inpatient psychiatric hospital program designed for children, adolescents and young adults, ages 3-21, who are in immediate need of psychiatric stabilization and who are at risk of harming themselves or others.
The Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital provides inpatient services for children, adolescents and young adults with psychiatric issues, including behavioral, emotional and substance abuse problems. Additionally, the Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital offers a specialized program to serve the needs of the deaf and hard-of-hearing. Inpatient programs provide intensive psychiatric treatment in a therapeutic environment.
Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital treatment teams are dedicated to providing quality, innovative and comprehensive care. The individual needs of each client are addressed by a multidisciplinary treatment team, including: psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, clinical therapists, registered nurses, social workers, psychiatric technicians, teachers, substance abuse counselors, activity therapists, a dietician and medical services personnel. Intensive evaluation, treatment and education are provided to address the client's emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive issues.
The Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital's treatment team coordinates services with families and external agencies, professionals and schools to ensure a successful transition to home, school and the community.
Intakes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
